This course teaches basic interpretation of normal histology of select fish, bivalves, and corals, and introduces common histopathologic disease findings. This course will be presented online, using state-of-the art, digital slide technology.

The format of the class will focus to a large extent on Mediasite lectures, reading from book chapters or primary scientific literature on the topic for a given class, and scheduled online digital slide laboratories/chats.  For each module, students will need to complete a self test quiz.

Students in the CE/non-credit section will not be graded and thus may be exempt from exams and homeworks.

IMPORTANT: if you are planning to pursue the Graduate Certificate in Aquaculture and Fish Health, you CANNOT use this registration form. Please contact Sandra Houder for assistance at sfrc-online@ifas.ufl.edu.
