The First Year Faculty Teaching Academy (FYFTA) is a workshop series designed for faculty in their first years of teaching at UF. This workshop series is designed to help you create a great learning experience for your students and save you time and frustration. While there is no single "best way" to teach, in this series of workshops you'll experience and discuss a variety of techniques. We invite you to adapt and use the strategies that seem right for you.
Upon successfully completing the program requirements, participants receive the FYFTA passport category badge, earn 500 miles towards the Great Teaching for New Faculty Certificate, and a copy of What the Best College Teachers Do by Ken Bain.
