The Occupational Therapy Department at the University of Florida is an Approved Provider in Continuing Education (#5208) by The American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc.

In this course, the author provides an overview of life care planning as a case management tool for occupational therapy practitioners as well as other rehabilitation professionals. Definitions and roles for life care planning are included.  The training also includes an overview of the methodology associated with life care planning practice. 

Target Audience:

This course is well-suited for occupational therapists as well as other professionals with a background in rehabilitation.

Educational Level

Intermediate.  Information is geared to practitioners with a general working knowledge of rehabilitation and service delivery. Focus is on a basic understanding and application of the subject matter.
