When applying for a Florida license, every new dentist must complete the Florida Laws and Rules examination. This course will help you understand the material and will serve as an aid tool to facilitate your independent study. The course will review the dentist's laws, rules, guidelines, and responsibilities. This course should be complemented by studying the booklet the Board of Dentistry offers.
Dr. Rebecca M. Sikand received her DDS degree from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1994. From 1994 through 2017, she worked in private practice as an associate moving around the country with her husband’s job. She had the pleasure to work in Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa and then back to Illinois where she practiced general dentistry for the past 10 years. Since 2015, she also taught as an faculty member at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. She joined UFCD as an Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dental Sciences, Division of Operative Dentistry in July 2017. Dr. Sikand’s focus and passion has always been to provide her patients with the appropriate education focusing on health and prevention.
