This course is an educational resource designed for pharmacists providing end-of-life patient care. This course will describe common end-of-life symptoms and describe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies used to treat respective end-of-life symptoms. Participants will be able to discuss the concept of de-prescribing medications in actively dying patients and identify the role of clinical pharmacist interventions in palliative care.
