Earn the Faculty Learning Community Certificate.  What is a Faculty Learning Community?  A Faculty Learning Community (FLC) is a peer-led group of faculty members who engage in an active, collaborative, year–long program, structured to provide encouragement, support, and reflection.

The 2019 Provost's Symposium kicked off new FLC's centered on Active Learning. You may now choose from one of these areas of focus:

  • Active Learning for Large Enrollment
  • Active Learning with ePortfolios
  • Active Learning with Technology (Classroom & Online)
  • Assessment as Active Learning
  • Active Learning for Honors (selective)
  • Team-Based Learning (full)

Earn your passport miles:

  • Attend required sessions one and six
  • Attend an additional two sessions of your choice
  • Propose, construct and present your “Big Idea Project”
  • Present a future Passport to Great Teaching workshop

Get started by self-registering here and then proceed to the Canvas course site for workshop details.
