This course is an educational resource designed for consulting pharmacists and pharmacists providing patient care to geriatric patients. This course includes a variety of continuing education modules such as applying Beers Criteria, laws surrounding the use of chemical restraints, appropriate use of inhalers, anticoagulation, pain management, and selected topics in infectious diseases and diabetes.
This program is approved by the Florida Board of Pharmacy for 12 consultant recertification hours. You must complete all 8 modules to receive 12 consultant recertification hours.
